We went camping at one of the Tentrr sites on the property of Cathy and Ben. Very nice camping spot and Cathy and Ben make you feel welcome. The Old Game Farm is an interesting property to discover and to wander around for a couple of hours...
We worked with the current owners to spend a day walking around the Old Game Farm. It was interesting and we were allowed to take photos. I recommend it as a day trip to anybody interested in the property or as a place to get some interesting photos.
It was great to go back to a place I went to when I was a kid
We are mountain bikers and there are some great single trail tracks in the area (Roundtopia and Elm Ridge). Roundtopia is adjacent to the Old Game Farm and Elm Ridge is in Windham, about 30 min drive from the tentrr site.
Don’t show up like we did. It’s not open for the public. You need to email them to get permission on the property. Open April-October . There black cat and dog greet us at the door. We did see some animals like goats. And you can camp here. No bathroom, not a lot people, not worth going unless you get permission.
Headed up there last weekend from southern Connecticut. It was really amazing to see the property again. We will be back for sure! The owners were great and their on site pets were very friendly!
